What this tool does
The video compressor reduces file size by re-encoding the selected video as MP4. It is useful when a file is too large for email, class platforms, web forms, chat, or quick sharing.
Use this tool when you care about a quality setting more than a strict MB number. For a fixed upload limit, use the 25MB target-size compressor instead.
How browser processing works
Compression runs locally in the browser using FFmpeg WebAssembly. Your file is read from your device, processed inside the page, and offered back as a download.

Troubleshooting
