Reduce waste before quality
Trim dead time, remove unneeded endings, and resize from 4K to 1080p or 720p when the destination is a phone, email thread, or class platform. These changes often preserve more visible quality than an aggressive quality slider setting.
Watch for blur triggers
Blur usually appears when resolution is too low, bitrate is too low, or the video has fast motion that needs more data. If the result is muddy, raise quality or reduce duration instead of shrinking the same long clip harder.
